Towers Way

This is a meandering linear route from the north of the county south to Lincoln city. Where possible the route avoids the Viking Way and links 40 churches along the way. In addition to the Viking Way there are connections to the Wanderlust and Nev Cole Ways and to the Lindsey Loop.

Length 100 miles, Start point Barton on Humber, Lincs (Grid Ref. TA032218), finish Lincoln city. (Grid Ref. SK978719)

  • Go to Ramblers main website www.ramblers.org.uk and click the link 'Become a member'
  • This gives lots of information about membership fees and says something about the sorts of walks on offer.
  • Usually when people become members they become a member of  a Group local to where they live so that they are circulated with the Group's walk programme and other related material.
  • However, as a Rambler member you would be entitled to walk with any Group in the country.
  • Finally, remember that before you actually decide to join you are entitled to three free walks. This helps you to experience what is on offer particularly the grades of walks. 

 

Use Group Walk Finder to view upcoming walks.

  • View the future walks scheduled by each Lincolnshire Ramblers Group. To do this click on the drop down  menu item 'Group Walks' above. Mini map locations are given for each walk.
  • Alternatively, use the Calendar of Walks(right) to view all Group walks on specific days.
