Viking Way Buses

Viking Way Bus Services

The Viking Way is generally well served by buses with services being provided by a number of different operators.
The tables on the next two pages give an indication of which services are relevant to each section of the Viking Way
and are meant as an aid for bus users to plan how to split the walk into sections and to present the options available.
In addition to scheduled services, CallConnect and CallConnect Plus are demand responsive mini-bus services,
linking isolated small villages with local towns and only operate in response to passenger requests. Journeys must
be booked at least 2 hours in advance of travel by telephoning the special CallConnect Booking Line on 0845
234 33 44 between the hours of 0830 to 1630 Monday to Friday and 0900 to 1500 on Saturdays.
The easiest way to find timetable information is by use of the internet and the table below gives sources of this
information. In some cases, a particular timetable may be available from more than one of these sources.
Information for a specific journey can also be obtained by telephoning the ‘Traveline’ Public Transport Information
hotline on 0871 200 22 33.

How to join Ramblers.

  • Go to Ramblers main website and click the link 'Become a member'
  • This gives lots of information about membership fees and says something about the sorts of walks on offer.
  • Usually when people become members they become a member of  a Group local to where they live so that they are circulated with the Group's walk programme and other related material.
  • However, as a Rambler member you would be entitled to walk with any Group in the country.
  • Finally, remember that before you actually decide to join you are entitled to three free walks. This helps you to experience what is on offer particularly the grades of walks.

Use Group Walk Finder to view upcoming walks.

  • View the future walks scheduled by each Lincolnshire Ramblers Group. To do this click on the drop down  menu item 'Group Walks' above. Mini map locations are given for each walk.
  • Alternatively, use the Calendar of Walks(right) to view all Group walks on specific days.

This information is a feed from the Group Walkfinder  published on Ramblers HQ main website.
